We are seeking a Concrete Material Driver (Ready-Mix) that lives and breathes a positive and safe work environment while given a sense of empowerment at our already sustainable and successful company!
What will you accomplish and enjoy as a Concrete Material Driver ?
• Don't have your CDL? No problem. APC invests in CDL drivers and will pay for you to obtain your license!
• Transporting concrete materials to and from specified job locations using a Ready-Mix truck.
• Completing pre- and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Communicating with maintenance and fleet coordinator regarding equipment conditions and maintenance needs.
• Performing annual services and inspections to ready-mix trucks and other equipment.
• Maintaining a clean interior and exterior of ready-mix trucks and other equipment.
• Being available and willing to assist with other tasks within the Batch Plant operations.

Essential Duties: • Safely operate ready-mix trucks and other equipment according to federal, state, and company regulations.
• Complete all pre- and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Document and perform routine checks and inspections mandatory for DOT requirements.
• Communicate with maintenance and fleet coordinator regarding equipment conditions and maintenance needs.
• Safely and efficiently maneuver ready-mix trucks at specified locations for loading and unloading materials.
• Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Perform annual services and inspections to ready-mix trucks and other equipment.
• Have flexibility of hauling variations of materials to multiple locations, both in-state and out-of-state.
• Maintain a clean interior and exterior of ready-mix trucks and other equipment.
Qualifications: • Don't have your CDL? No problem. APC invests in CDL drivers and will pay for you to obtain your license!
• Minimum of Class B commercial driver permit required. Class B CDL required after training period.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous concrete-related experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required. Ability to read and interpret mixer truck gauges.
