Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse
Job Description: Provide compassionate nursing care, assessments, emergency response, and case management to our senior tenants on the assisted living level. Some scheduling and some training for care giving staff (in full time Nurse's absence and when on call), on call coverage required for some nights, holidays, weekends (share rotation with other nurses on staff), come in when on call for significant changes assessments and post hospital assessments, as needed. Help manage care giving staff when on call or working. Work with and coordinate care with other agencies such as home care, hospice, Doctor's offices, Hospitals, social workers, skilled units, etc. Provide great follow up and communication with families, Doctor's offices, etc.
Essential Duties: Nursing assessments, training and managing care staff as needed, on call coverage, case management, nursing care, great communicator, some scheduling when working and when on call.
Qualifications: R.N. license, BSN preferred but not required. CPR and Heimlich maneuver required (in house training provided), mandatory reporter training (in house training provided).
