Job Title: Apprentice Moldmaker

Job Description: The Apprentice Moldmaker will learn the fundamentals of mold construction, maintenance, and repair while working alongside experienced moldmakers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in precision manufacturing, machining, CAD/CAM and skilled trades.

Essential Duties: ● Assist in the construction, assembly, and repair of plastic injection and die cast molds
● Learn to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
● Operate and maintain shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines (training provided)
● Perform basic bench work including fitting, polishing, and spotting molds
● Support mold troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventative care
● Progress through apprenticeship training benchmarks and skill development goals

Qualifications: ● High school diploma or GED required
● Mechanical aptitude and strong interest in hands-on work
● Ability to read basic measurements and use precision measuring tools (or willingness to learn)
● Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
