Job Title: CNC Lead
Job Description: Dyersville Die Cast is a family-owned business with great pay and benefits! We are looking for two CNC Leads. The purpose of the CNC Lead position will be to ensure that the CNC department is operating safely and meeting or exceeding productivity standards. Spanish and English required.
Hours are Th, Fri, Sat 6 am - 6pm or Th, Fri, Sat 6 pm-6 am. Weekend and Night pay differentials applied.
Essential Duties: Essential job duties of the CNC Lead will be but are not limited to the following.
Maintain a strong safety culture and a safe work environment.
Plan and direct daily work activities to manage production resources to obtain daily production goals.
Develop and implement process improvements.
Improve employee performance through formal and informal feedback and job training.
Maintain Production records.
Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma with leadership experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite.
Strong machining experience, including both CNC and manual machines.
Ability to teach machining skills and proven ability to drive process improvement.
Strong leadership skills: including being disciplined, assertive and having a high energy level to meet safety and production performance goals.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Ability to Solve problems in a variety of situations.
Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with employees.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and in person.
Standing and lifting.
Bilingual - Spanish and English
