Job Title: Welder/ Fabricator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:

• Fabrication/Welding of products according to company specifications
• Assemble various products as per job instructions, directions of Supervisor
• Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications
• Operates hand and machine tools and welding equipment
• Joins structures and assembles parts through welding, bolting or riveting
• Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order
• Communicate with Supervisor regarding any parts/fabrication discrepancies, which needs to be rectified immediately
• Clocks each job in and out using ERP computer system
• Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order
• Keep workshop area including floor clean and tidy and in a safe working condition
• To ensure compliance of OSHA, company policies and legislation
• Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use
• Assist in stock takes are directed and required
• To perform other duties as required from time to time as requested

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Fabricator
• Fabrication/Welding certification
• Ability to read drawings; job specifications/ instructions
• Good time management skills
