Job Title: Production Planning Manager

Job Description: Digga North America is seeking an experienced and driven Production Planning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations at our Dyersville facility. This role is responsible for ensuring production schedules are executed efficiently, resources are optimized, and customer demands are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and team performance.

Essential Duties: What You'll Do
As the Production Planning Manager, you will:
• Lead and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Oversee production supervisors and work center performance to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify delays, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Adjust production plans based on material availability, supplier issues, and customer requirements
• Coordinate production activities across departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery
• Lead weekly production meetings and communicate key updates to leadership
• Analyze production data, work orders, and schedules to support operational decision-making
• Manage inventory accuracy, production variances, and stock control processes
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment and operational issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Support employee development through coaching, training, performance management, and leadership

Qualifications: Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and capacity management
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions
Preferred
• Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools
• Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process improvement experience
