Job Title: Full Time Appliance Sales Associate
Job Description: The Appliance sales associate is responsible for driving strong customer advocacy while performing in a customer service and retail environment. They will meet and exceed sales targets and goals provided to them from Appliance Plus. They will demonstrate a strong knowledge of General Electric's full portfolio of products and services as well as the products that Appliance Plus also provides for retail sales.
Essential Duties: Greets customers in a professional and timely manner in-store and over the phone
Meets and exceeds sales targets and goals for products and services provided by Appliance Plus
Assists with store inventory management
Performs store operations, including opening and closing procedures, register reconciliation, and nightly deposits
Troubleshoots equipment issues and consults on product service concerns
Coordinates with third-party services, including appliance financing
Attends and completes all required training and programs provided by General Electric
Some travel may be required
Willing to train at other store locations as needed
Preference for candidates located between Marion, IA and Dyersville, IA
Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures is preferred
Basic math skills
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Requires some heavy lifting
