Job Title: Packaging Technician

Job Description: The Packaging Technician is responsible for packaging and warehousing of finished goods. Ensures packaging equipment and facilities are used to established food manufacturing regulations and government sanitation requirements.

Essential Duties: The job's primary responsibilities are to ensure that the packaging tasks are carried out in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:
● Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
● Nurture a safe, kind, respectful, and competitive environment.
● Visually inspecting packaging including print and date codes on film.
● Accurately packing finished good pouches into corrugated boxes.
● Ensure accurate date codes on boxes.
● Stack cases on Pallets in accordance with customer requirements.
● Sustaining cleanliness of packaging area.
● Assisting in loading WIP supersacks on the packaging lines.
● Performs sanitation tasks as directed by line lead or management.
● Performs other duties as assigned by site management.
● Adhere to GMPs, health, and safety guidelines as outlined in quality and food safety procedures.
● Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualifications:
● Education - High School education or GED preferred.
● Follow all safety and food safety policies and procedures.
● Reliability is a must.
